Who: Your volunteer service is requested to paint!

What: To 'Pick a Day' and volunteer!  Volunteer just a little over four hours of your time with this opportunity.  The volunteer project will be supporting Habitat for Humanity’s A Brush with Kindness (ABWK). The program is an exterior home preservation service that offers painting, landscaping, weather stripping and minor repair services for homeowners in need. ABWK helps low-income homeowners impacted by age, disability and family circumstances, who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes, reclaim their homes with pride and dignity.  All you have to do is sign up, complete the waiver, and show up on February 23rd at the volunteer site at 8:30am ready to paint!

When: Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 8:30am to 1:00pm

Why:  Ready to get involved in your community?  Pick Group wants to help you make time to volunteer with 'Pick a Day' volunteer opportunities!  Perhaps help you start chipping away at those hours you pledged in January for Pick and Pledge.  We have just the opportunity coming up on Saturday, February 23rd.  All you have to do is sign up, complete the waiver, and show up on February 23rd at 8:30am ready to paint!  Tools and water will be provided for the day.  Safety orientation and build instructions provided on site.  We will be painting that day so please wear appropriate clothing.    

Please note, all new volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver before they come on site.  Click here to download waiver!  Please print, fill out and bring it on the volunteer day. Please note that you may have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity before, but your waiver may have expired and their project manager may ask you to complete another one.
